About Myself  :  I am the Chief Technical Instructor of Yotskool Academy. I was born in Farnborough In the south of England and i have accumulated over 30 years of Marine and Technical Engineering experience, which i now want to pass on to the rest of our training community, i am sure that both new and experienced yacht engineers who wish to start or advance their Marine Engineering careers will benefit from my knowledge. - My background. I completed a four year engineering apprenticeship with BP Shipping of London and spent a total of 31 years at sea in the commercial world of oil tankers, refrigerated cargo vessels and container vessels. Of those 31 years of marine engineer experience, 18 years were in the position of Chief Engineer (MCA Class 1 Commercial License)- I continue to hold a valid MCA Class 1 Commercial License and I am an MCA Approved Engineering Instructor. I have spent the last two years working in conjunction with a well known Maritime Training Establishment in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to research, develop, co-ordinate and teach all of the MCA Yacht Engineer and USCG Engineer courses.
